Description
An animation I made with some friends for a school assignment. The animation is, except for the blast CGI, completely in cut-out style. In the animation, a bunch of aliens travel to the outermost edge of the universe and accidentally break into God's Laboratory. In addition to the cut-out design and animation, I also made the soundtrack - one of the first songs I ever composed.

The animation is, except for the blast CGI, completely in cut-out style. In the animation, a bunch of aliens travel to the outermost edge of the universe and accidentally break into God's Laboratory. In addition to the cut-out design and animation, I also made the soundtrack - one of the first songs I ever composed.

Inspired by Nick Campbell's speech 'The Creative Gap', I decided to start my own 'Make Something Cool Everyday' project. As the title insinuates, I will make a design everyday and upload it in this project post. To restrict myself, I have set some personal rules:
1. Spend no more than eight hours
2. Use different techniques
3. Have fun with it
4. Stick to It
5. Don't cheat!
6. Improve } try to make things more difficult each day!
7. If you don't have an idea } copy!

In opdracht van Hotel New York hebben we met Bubblefish Interactive de nieuwe website van HNY gerealiseerd. De opdracht was om een 'website te creëren met een belevenis, de website moet een verhaal vertellen en boordevol HNY gekkigheidjes zitten'. Het resultaat is een creatieve website met zeer veel interactie.
Tijdens dit project was ik verantwoordelijk voor: Strategie, Concept, Vormgeving en Art Direction.

A book I made with my girlfriend consisting of childhood memories and stories told with pictures and bits of text. The book contains 100 pages, the first half are of my girlfriend and her memories and the second half are my memories. A sleeve design for a mixtape I made for my girlfriend. My girlfriend lived in America at the time and I live in the Netherlands. We were waiting for the moment she would move to the Netherlands and we could live together. The title of the Mixtape is 'Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained', an English saying that explained our state of mind at the time.

"Make the Brussel Sprout more fun!" was the briefing the client gave us. With Bubblefish Interactive, we looked at the different ways we could make the Brussel sprout more fun as a vegetable. We found it to be a hard task since the sprout has such a negative image.
We decided to show people the many faces of the sprout - to show the different, delicious meals you could create with the little green balls. The result was a fully-customizable, interactive e-card in which a person could edit his own face into an animation and invite a friend or family member to eat a favorite brussel sprout recipe with him. Besides sending invitations, people could also upload their own recipes resulting in a lot of interesting creations!Art Direction, Design, Concept2011 -
